This is a ca. 1935 scratch-built model of the new-at-the-time Lackawanna "Edison" MU coach, was built by Phil Buchert and his father Emil of Stirling, NJ. "Lackawanna" Phil took them to his summer residence in Maine. In the summer of 2002, Dave and Elaine Phraner traveled to Maine and brought the donated models back to NJ. The powered coach, trailer, and bridge models will make a fine exhibit at our proposed Lawrenceville museum building. (Photo by Rusty King)
